Case Studies

Service Desk and Break/Fix Services for State Parks IT

We partnered with the State Parks to provide solutions for their Parks Automated Record Keeping System (PARKS) web-based financial tracking system that serves all 41 parks in its state park system. They wanted us to improve PARKS’ customer experience by increasing its speed and improving its quality of service for all of the parks. That request covers a large geographical area and parks in remote locations.

We met this challenge by providing services that included Service Desk support for each of the 46 state park system user sites, network and PC support at each location, testing and quality assurance, and user training. This allowed them to provide effective service to a large geographical area with improved system functionality that improved their sites’ end-user experience.

Upgraded Infrastructure for a Medical Center

A medical center with tight budget constraints was reluctant to replace its aging IT infrastructure. When they partnered with us, we performed an IT assessment, installed wireless internet, supported remote server recovery, and performed a workstation refresh. The upgraded infrastructure improved their network’s reliability and its overall performance and functionality. The result is improved productivity and efficiency of their day-to-day operations.

Mobile App Development

Custom-developed Mobile App used by 10 States to conduct fast and efficient watercraft inspections. Supporting iOS and Android handheld devices, the Mobile App processes more than 1,000,000 watercraft inspections conducted annually at hundreds of locations. The data is collected and efficiently transferred into a centralized database that is then used for reporting and analytics. Built using Asp.net, MVC. JQuery, Bootstrap, PhoneGap, and SQL, this mobile application has transformed the process of watercraft inspection. The real time capabilities have helped to prevent the spread of aquatic species resulting in the savings of millions of dollars of potential maintenance and water facilities.

Consulting Company

This consulting company had no centralized management tools, plus had an IT team separated by geography, which resulted in poor onsite IT support. We provided solutions that improved coordination and communication between their separate locations. We also set up monthly check-ups so they could be proactive with IT issues they encountered.
