Founded in 1990, the idea of providing technical contracting and perm placement services was inspired by Annette Quintana. Denver’s sunshine and outdoor activities were an attraction for highly talented IT leaders with an interest in the lifestyle that Colorado offered. With US West as a first customer, Annette, along with her sister, Victoria, grew the business with a service ethic that today is reflected in our core value of “Service Beyond Reason.”

As the demand for IT services has evolved and expanded over three decades, Istonish’s agility and entrepreneurial spirit empowered the company to expand into new areas of Technology Services. Since its start with US West and the Telecom industry, Istonish has served Healthcare, Public Sector, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, Financial Services, the Federal Government, Higher Education, and Non-Profit organizations. Istonish has had large teams in Vancouver, Canada, and throughout the USA.
Over the years, the Istonish culture and dedicated employees have made Istonish what it is today. Our services range from providing help to end-users via Service Desk, to Cloud Engineering, to Managed Security to Software Development. And yes, we still provide Technical Staffing services.

Annette Quintana
Chairman and Co-Founder
Annette brings 30+ years of business experience to Istonish, which she co-founded with her sister in 1990. Under her leadership, Istonish has grown into an international business, and her vision drives the evolution of new and compelling technological service solutions. Over the years, she has received many awards and other forms of business recognition that have confirmed her status as a business leader. Her awards and honors include: Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Technology CEO of the Year (CTA), Latino Hall of Fame Inductee for Innovation and Technology, and Most Powerful Women in Colorado. Annette holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University.
Victoria Quintana
Member, Board of Directors and Co-Founder
Victoria is a seasoned executive who is one of the principal architects of Istonish. She guides the company’s overall operations as an owner, director, and manager. She focuses on optimizing Istonish’s processes by creating structure, aligning systems to meet business needs, and maintaining employee connections. Victoria has bridged her leadership roles in Istonish and in the community. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Colorado State University.
Maddi Duran
Senior Controller
Maddi has 25+ years of experience in managing financial operations for companies of all sizes. She is skilled in creating and implementing financial policies and procedures, monitoring budgets and financial performance, and providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and her MBA from University of Colorado.
